Orbit Master: Orbit Master is a unique action adventure in space for the PC. Made
especially for DirectX-enabled machines, Orbit Master uses a
high-res screen and hardware acceleration to achieve
amazing effects.
Orbit Master offers hours of fun, using unique gameplay and
the latest in game physics, with outstanding
graphics, bone-rattling sounds, and a thumping soundtrack.
The player commands a spaceship that uses a laser-grapple
to swing around solar systems, orbiting strange suns, bashing
into alien ships, and herding space cows. Fun for the whole family,
Orbit Master allows players the freedom to solve each level
in their own time and their own way.
The ship and the universe are populated with interesting and
nefarious characters, who tell a story of galactic war through
32 levels of action and puzzle-solving gameplay. Orbit Master
features fun dialog, hundreds of evil enemy ships,
antimatter suns, orbital defense stations, and the Dark Alien Sun.
"I started with a solar system simulator,"
said Thom Robertson, the game's creator. "But after much
experimentation, I found a way for the player's ship to swing
like a monkey from the comets that orbit the sun. This new
control scheme is so simple and compelling that I knew I
could make a great game using it."
